Small enough to move from place to place, the Sony KV-20S42 Trinitron 20-inch Stereo Color TV combines portability with many features found on larger models. The Dynamic Picture processor and Sony's Trinitron 20-inch picture tube work together to create sharp color images. Among audio features, the Sony KV-20S42 offers an MTS decoder with dbx noise reduction, 6 watts audio power, and stereo sound. Also provided are a headphone jack and front and rear audio-video inputs.

The Sony KV-20S42 includes a Remote Commander remote control and convenience features such as CaptionVision, clock/timer, sleep timer, speed surf, V-chip parental lock, multilanguage display, channel fix, jump channel, automatic channel programming, and the Express Tuning System. Also included is Sony's XDS, or extended data service, which receives information that some broadcasters are adding to their signals, such as time or programming information.
